There is no independent Audit of the Electoral Roll

And one of the biggest issues is the electoral roll. For any government to claim a lawful democratic mandate, the electoral roll must be accurate, independently auditable, and capable of verification. It is not enough for the system to say, “trust us”. If the roll is self-monitored, internally checked, or only reviewed by the same machinery responsible for maintaining it, then the public is entitled to ask: Who independently audits it? How often? Against what standard? What error rate is acceptable? What happens when inaccuracies are found? Who certifies that the roll is fit for an election? Because without a properly verified electoral roll, everything downstream becomes questionable — voting, representation, parliamentary authority, ministerial power, public spending, law-making, and enforcement. A lawful government must be able to prove the foundation of its mandate. That starts with the roll. isayso.net
