The Crown says it is about “safety.” Is it?

Where is the money going?
Every time we are fined, tested, charged, ticketed, or processed through the road enforcement system, the Crown says it is about “safety.”
But look at the pattern.
Police are Crown.
NZTA is Crown.
Prosecution is Crown.
Court registry is Crown administration.
Ministry of Justice collects unpaid fines.
And the money goes back into Crown-controlled funds.
So who is actually checking this?
Who proves it is safety — not revenue?
Who audits the cameras?
Who audits the reduced speed limits?
Who audits roadside testing?
Who audits the fines?
Who audits the enforcement contracts?
Who audits the Crown when the Crown keeps the money?
Because this is the problem:
The Crown creates the rules.
The Crown enforces the rules.
The Crown processes the fines.
The Crown controls the records.
The Crown receives the money.
Then the Crown tells us it is all for our own good.
That is not transparency.
That is not accountability.
That is the Crown keeping it all in-house.
And we are being treated like trespassers in our own home.
Crown by Crown, for Crown.
Not us.
