District Court Judge Must not be a JP and Must be Warranted

If we have to go into the District Court for any reason, we don’t always stand before a judge . Most times it is only a justice of the peace.
No JP can sit in the place of a judge in the district court.
Ask the person who sits as a judge if they are a judge or a JP.

District court rules 2014 section 1.4, Interpretation:
court—(a) means the District Court; and (b) includes a District Court Judge

If you arent in front of a District Court judge then you are not in a District Court court!

Then ask
Can I see your signed warrant of appointment issued by the governor general appointing you as judge.

District Court Act 2016 part 2 judges section 11

(2) The Governor-General appoints a Judge by a signed warrant of appointment.

All judges must be warranted by the governor general.

These are the rules of the court. We are holding them accountable to these rules.
